The practical test has recently changed to include 1 or 2 sections of independent driving. Help is given throughout your tuition to familiarise you with the test procedures. The test will be carried out in the car you have learnt to drive in and on the day you will be picked up in plenty of time for you to run through all the manoeuvres that you may be asked to do and arrive at the test centre in time for a rest and a comfort break. Both parts of your driving licence, your theory certificate and your letter confirming your test appointment are required at the test centre.

You will also have the option for your instructor to sit in on your test.
